The ring block friction and wear tester is used to test the friction and wear performance of the sample by means of linear contact sliding friction. Operating principle: the driving part is a standard rotating ring, and the driven part is a fixed rectangular block of standard size. The bearing capacity of lubricant and the friction and wear performance of friction pair materials are evaluated by measuring the width of strip wear mark on the rectangular block of passive test piece under different loads and the friction and friction coefficient between friction pair materials. Under the condition of oil-immersed lubrication, evaluate the lubricating performance of various lubricants, especially applicable to the simulation evaluation of the anti-abrasion performance of the gear oil of medium and high-end vehicles, and can be used for the research on the wear performance of various metal, non-metallic materials and coatings.
The ring block wear tester, also known as Timken friction tester, was developed by Timken from 1935 to 1972 for testing lubricating oil and grease. It is mainly used to test the bearing capacity of lubricating oil and distinguish the extreme pressure performance of lubricating oil. The extreme pressure performance is represented by OK value. It is used to evaluate the friction performance of lubricating oil and grease. The extreme pressure, wear resistance and friction performance test shall comply with GB/T12444, GB/T3960, GB/T11144, ASTM D2782, ASTM D2509, IP 240 and IP 326.
The new ring block testing machine produced by Hengxu adopts a new split structure with novel appearance. The loading load is directly applied by a servomotor through precise deceleration, conversion and buffering to overcome the fluctuation and error of lever loading. The test parameters are set in a unit manner, which is convenient for operation and accurate and reliable test readings. The machine adopts a modular structure design. The computer, software, industrial control module and actuator are combined in an independent control cabinet to reduce the overall vibration of the equipment during fierce friction of the ring block friction pair and complete the control of the entire test process. The test data can be collected in real time and corresponding test curves can be drawn. The test data or curves can be stored, retrieved, printed and output at will.

The relevant transmission components also adopt imported precision bearings;

Electrical part: the equipment adopts independent embedded industrial controller, industrial metal touch screen and acquisition independent analysis module, which can effectively ensure the impact on the performance of the control part when the equipment vibrates at high speed or when the oil film breaks;
4. Control software: generally, real-time acquisition can be realized by software, but we are self-developed special software (for the software transformed from universal material testing machine), and professional test schemes can be established according to different standards.
5.
